Marco Mengoni

Marco Mengoni is one of the leading figures of the Italian music scene: over 17 years of career he has surpassed 3 billion audio and video streams, earned 86 platinum records, released 8 studio albums and taken 10 live tours across Italy and Europe. He has won the Sanremo Festival twice and represented Italy twice at the Eurovision Song Contest, establishing himself as one of the most recognisable and influential voices in contemporary Italian music.
In September 2026 he was awarded as the artist with the most tickets sold in 2025, and Marco Mengoni goes from a singer-songwriter able to draw over 670,000 spectators with his tour, across Italian stadiums, indoor venues and European arenas, to creative director of a new Milan space, Allo Sbagliato. A venue that is “just the right size”, whose mood is revealed by its very name, Sbagliato (“wrong”), with an exceptional creative director in his first role of this kind: Marco Mengoni. The artistic direction of Sbagliato marks a new phase in the singer-songwriter’s journey. From 5 November to 19 December: seven weeks of nights, each one different from the last.

On 12 June 2026 Canto d’amore was released, the new single by Angelina Mango featuring Marco Mengoni, bringing the two singer-songwriters together once again in a reflective and authentic song. It speaks of contrasts, of how human beings can be perfect and imperfect at once, confident and insecure at the same time; it tells of the shared need to accept one’s authenticity, the desire to make mistakes without feeling guilty, letting go of the perfection we are expected to achieve: ultimately, of being fully human.

On 7 November 2025 he released Coming Home, the first song co-written with renowned American singer-songwriter Matt Simons and produced by Marco Mengoni together with Giovanni Pallotti. It captures the emotion of coming home for the holidays, that moment when memories, distance and bonds take on an even deeper meaning.

On 5 September Annalisa released “Piazza San Marco” with Marco Mengoni, a black-and-white ballad, a cinematic story in which the two protagonists confide in each other and find support in one another. The song is an artistic encounter that brings together two of the most beloved and iconic voices in Italian music on an intense emotional journey.

On 13 June he released “Sto bene al mare” with Sayf and Rkomi, an unusual summer track: although the title suggests the carefree mood of the holidays, the lyrics move along a fine line between lightness and depth.

2025 was a significant year for Marco Mengoni, marked by 6 months of live shows with 750,000 tickets sold and sold-out dates in Italy and Europe.
In summer 2025, Marco headlined Marco negli stadi 2025, produced and organised by Live Nation, a 12-date tour of Italy’s main stadiums with 500,000 tickets sold, which sold out in Rome, Turin and both dates in Bologna, with full houses also in Lignano, Naples and Bari, the first date in Milan and the second date in Messina. Marco negli stadi 2025 was an ambitious project born from the bold idea of immersing pop in the great theatrical tradition, where the audience itself takes centre stage, finding on stage its own story, that of its peers and of the whole world.

In the autumn of last year, Marco Mengoni also performed in the major indoor venues and most important arenas in Italy and Europe, with 33 concerts, 21 in Italy and 12 in Europe, selling over 250,000 tickets. Marco sold out the warm-up date in Conegliano, both dates in Turin, all four dates in Milan, both dates in Pesaro, all three dates in Florence, the first date in Eboli, all four dates in Rome, as well as Paris and London.
In 2024 Marco was co-host and special guest of the opening night of the 74th Sanremo Festival.
The singer-songwriter returned to the Sanremo stage in 2023 with Due Vite, which won him the festival, as well as 6 platinum records in Italy and 1 in Switzerland, 135 million YouTube views and 339 million total audio and video streams. Marco also won the covers night with a gospel version of Let It Be performed with the Kingdom Choir, along with the Giancarlo Bigazzi award, given by the orchestra for the best musical composition.

In October 2023 he released a French version of Due Vite, titled “La Dernière Chanson (Due Vite)”, following his fourth place at Eurovision, where he won the “Best Composition” award.

His participation in the 73rd Sanremo Festival with Due Vite once again marked an important moment in Marco’s musical history: it was the start of the final chapter of MATERIA, his multi-platinum album trilogy. In May 2023 he released Materia (Prisma), the final piece of the trilogy, a musical journey that began in December 2021 with Materia (Terra) and continued in October 2022 with Materia (Pelle).
