Settembre is the stage name of Andrea Settembre, a Naples-born singer-songwriter born in 2001. With his raw, expressive vocals and unmistakable tone, he has carved out a distinctive place for himself in Italy’s new pop generation. Music has been part of his life from an early age, and he first began sharing his talent online, gradually building a dedicated following across social media.
His breakthrough came in 2023, when he joined X Factor as part of Dargen D’Amico’s team. His time on the show introduced a wider audience to both his voice and his songwriting, and also gave rise to one of his most successful releases to date: a reworking of CCCP’s classic Amandoti. Settembre added an original verse in Neapolitan to the song, and his version quickly went viral, going on to reach more than 11 million streams.
Two years later, Vertebre took him to Sanremo, where he won the Nuove Proposte category in 2025. A deeply personal song about the insecurities of a generation and the vulnerability that comes with relationships, Vertebre also earned him the Mia Martini Critics’ Award, the Lucio Dalla Press Room Award, the Enzo Jannacci Award and the SIAE Award for Best Music Video. The track was certified Gold on July 21, 2025.
Settembre returned on July 3, 2026 with Due settimane, opening a new chapter in his music. After premiering the single at TIM Summer Hits, he spent the summer performing it at major radio festivals across Italy, marking the beginning of the next phase of his career.
